Long & Foster Agents Give Back

"Our sales agents are dedicated to the community where they live and work," says Tracey Espada, sales manager. "We are very fortunate to have a team that are as committed to their neighbors as they are their clients and customers," she adds.

Sales agent Elaine McDonald is one example of demonstrating leadership in her community, as well as, in her profession. Elaine has served on Garrett County Memorial Hospital's Foundation Board since the inception of the hospital in 1987. groundbreak_400

Over the years, Elaine has held various positions on the board including foundation board chairperson, secretary, annual support chairperson, and as a member of the major gifts committee. Most recently Elaine served as General Campaign Chairperson a capital campaign committee that raised $2.6MM toward the construction and renovation of the Carl Del Signore wing of the hospital. The wing is the home of the new emergency room and department, and the same-day-surgery unit. The funds raised also provided major renovations and enhancements to the lab, radiology, admissions, gift shop and first floor lobby.
